Captain Gurnow
The ruler of Tharbad, Gurnow is little more than a bandit with pretension. He rules the city with an iron grip as it crumbles around him.

- In 2966 after a most entertaining audience Gurnow granted a toll exemption to the fellowship.
- In 2967 at the behest of the fellowship Gurnow rescinded the law which made leaving Tharbad illegal.
